A few people have mentioned the new acts added to Electric Picnic 2010, particularly the Body & Soul Arena. Jim Carroll is super-excited about Omar Souleyman – so he’ll be one new act to see. In addition, names closer to home have been added like Jennifer Evans, Spook of the Thirteenth Lock, the Holy Roman Army, Ultan Conlon, Nouveaunoise, Hunter Gatherer, Patrick Kelleher, and the All Ireland Talent Show‘s Daithi O’Dronai.
Electric Picnic is far more Irish than Oxegen. Tickets for the event which takes place 3-5 September cost €240 and are on sale now.
