Keith Forde – ‘Love at the Airport’
‘Love at the Airport’ is the debut single from Limerick singer-songwriter Keith Forde, and like the video and single cover, it recalls a sense of the early twentieth century. It has the old-world charm, and easily could soundtrack a Howard Hughes or Wright Brothers montage.
Made available for download on iTunes just this morning, the single was initially released on December 14th, and the video was recorded thanks to a competition run by Hot Press & New York University. Recorded at the Flying Boat Museum in Foynes, Co. Limerick, it’s an extremely clever video, and works superbly with the song itself.
‘Love at the Airport’ is a toe-tapping tune, and would work perfectly as a song to dance to once people had gotten into the swing of things. From this evidence, it seems that Forde’s solo career is already in full-swing, and his debut album (due for release some time this year), should be one to check out.
