And So I Watch You From Afar – Gangs
I sometimes find it tricky describing instrumental music. I never want to get bogged down in the terminology. So I thought I’d go for something different when reviewing And So I Watch You From Afar’s second album Gangs, which has received so much praise elsewhere, you’re sure to find a million and one “proper” reviews on it. My review on the other hand, is a graphical presentation on how I hear the songs. (Keep in mind that I’ve no special autistic/asperger abilities, this is just me doodling in MS Paint).

Hehe, nice work! They’ll have fun trying to turn that into a quote!

Why so Bren?
Also, thanks Eleventy!
Brilliant Ro – I’m the same. I actively avoid writing about instrumental music most of the time.
Can’t say I would’ve ever come up with this system but I like it!
Thanks Kev. If only some psychologist would analyse it Rorschach style.
That might just be the greatest review of anything I’ve ever known! You expressed an expression as an expression! Words are far to linear to conceptually view frequencies. An ingenious expression of ingenuity : ) As your own boss, you should promote yourself!
And So I Draw You From Afar?
Probably the most informative review of an album ever. Good Work!
wow pretty scathing review lifeproof there, wouldn’t have gone that far myself
Peter: That is genius.
Thanks to everyone else for the kind/jokey words. The comments section probably has a higher word count than the review now
