Dublin trad-rock foursome the Rattling Kind will be playing the Academy 2 on June 15th. The Northsiders seem to be heavily influenced by the Dubliners and Damien Dempsey, and have a true city sound. Drummer John Mulrooney is a former member of the Artane Boys Band and gives the songs a great rhythm. Tickets for the gig are a tenner, and are on sale now.
