Sleep Thieves’ Heart Waves was my favourite album of 2011, but they’re not the only band in Ireland making wonderful electronic pop music. Carried By Waves are a Cork experimental group that have just released a fantastic debut album, Softly Held Together. Even better, they’ve made it available for free.
