Live Review: Die Antwoord, Academy Dublin, 3 July 2012

South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord (which translates as The Answer, so don’t confuse them with the Northern Ireland rock band) came to Dublin on Tuesday night, 3rd July 2012, to play the Academy on Harcourt Street. They mostly played songs from their 2011 record Ten$Ion (whose cover still haunts my dreams), but also threw in an Enya cover/remix as well as a good few tunes from their breakout EP and album $O$, playing the sensational ‘Enter the Ninja’ in the encore. Craziest show of the year? Probably.
