For a while now, I’ve been thinking that music fans in Ireland could do with a structured music forum where they could discuss upcoming releases, albums from the past, as well as gigs and live shows. There are a few places already to chat about music online, but I wanted something that was ordered and informative. Using football forums ybig.ie and foot.ie, I saw that there was room for both a wideranging free-for-all message board as well as one that discussed the finer points.
So today, after a couple of days of testing, Swear I’m Not Paul is officially launching its own message board/forums where you can discuss music from Ireland and around the globe. Signing up takes just a few seconds, and you don’t have to worry about signatures, avatars or any of that stuff, as it’s simple to use. If you wish to change your password, there is instructions in a sticky topic in each sub-forum, so why not click on the Forums link in the navigation menu to see what there is on offer – and why not create a topic or two for a 2012 album that hasn’t been discussed yet.

There’s always the music forum on Boards.ie, which is pretty busy. There’s also a forum just for trad, but it’s a bit dead. Great blog by the way, subbed
