Sheffield crooner Richard Hawley teamed up with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra to play a one-off special gig at the Great Hall in the Magna Centre, Rotherham, on September 8th which was organised by BBC 6Music Live. Magna’s corporate sales director Helen Davies said of the gig: “We’re thrilled to have been chosen for this unique event for BBC Radio 6 Music. As vast former steel works, the scale of the site as well as its industrial heritage lends itself to creating a truly unique and electrifying atmosphere.”
It’s Hawley’s first time performing with an orchestra, and you can download a full bootleg of the show below.
