Donegal/Dublin Elvis Costello-soundalikes Kaplin are set to release new album Devastating Ways on the 12th of Octoer. I’ve heard a few tunes from it already, ‘Rumble of Rosary’ is up there with their best tunes, but ‘Turnstile in the Road’ seems like the album could be a branching out for the band. It’s a much smoother, soulful affair, and one that shows the band are capable of impressive progress. It gives me high hopes for the record itself. Download it for free below.
