Live: Mumford and Sons at the Olympia Theatre

Marcus Mumford and his unrelated offspring are returning to Ireland to play shows at Cork, Galway, Limerick, and Dublin. They’ve already sold out eight shows in the Scottish highlands for March, and will undoubtedly do the same when they come here. They will play four Irish gigs in five nights, culminating at the Olympia Theatre on 18th March (they get a night off for St. Patrick’s Day). Tickets for the Cork, Galway, and Limerick shows cost €28, with the Dublin one a euro cheaper (must be petrol costs?).

The tickets for all four dates go on sale this Wednesday at 9 a.m.

Irish Tour Dates:
14th March – Cork, Savoy Theatre
15th March – Galway, Radisson
16th March – Limerick, Dolans
18th March – Dublin, Olympia

  1. Saw them twice last year and they’re amazing. Hope they don’t play too many new tunes though.

  2. Caught them at Electric Picnic myself. But the treat was seeing Marcus solo supporting Laura Marling back in Whelan’s when they only had one EP out. Had never heard of them before and he really impressed me.
