Live: The Calvinists at the Workman’s Club

Bantry country-rock four-piece the Calvinists have announced their biggest show to date, at the Workman’s Club in Dublin. They’ve also made their single ‘Anchor’ available as a free download, which you can grab below. Taidhg Burke, Frank Wieler, Noel Maguire and Daragh Coakley have been together less than a year, and their youthful enthusiasm is fantastic. They’ve been mentioned in the New York Times, but amazingly, this is their first ever gig outside Cork. They’ve enlisted songwriter Donagh Long and sound engineer Marc de Zoeten for their debut album, which is due out later this year.
