Live Review: Swedish House Mafia, Phoenix Park, 7 July 2012

Nine people were stabbed at the Swedish House Mafia gig in the Phoenix Park, Dublin last night, and once victim has since died. A terrible thing to happen at a concert, where 99% of attendees went to have fun. However, John Balfe of entertainment.ie described the atmosphere at the show: “It was immediately apparent upon entering the concert site that this was a very different crowd compared to Thursday night. The first thing I saw upon entering was a teenager being frog-marched out by Gardai and inside saw several fights, lots of drug-taking and people out of their mind on drink. It was quite an overwhelming experience at times.”

Many fans did not realise the terrible situation, and simply enjoyed the show. Watch videos from the gig below.
