Never mind the new trailer for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, there’s a much more interesting video that was posted online today. The official Dave Matthews Band youtube account has released part one of the behind the scenes documentary The Making of Away From The World. It shows how the track ‘Mercy’ got its distinctive plucked guitar sound, and also gives a hint of what the song may have sounded like – the violin piece after the one minute mark that was left on the cutting room floor.
